IHBC prosecutions database reaches 150

Bob Kindred MBE, who maintains the IHBC’s database on prosecutions, has announced that the database now includes 150 cases, following the inclusion of a case from Northern Ireland recently reported on the institute’s NewsBlog.

The database was created in 1996 on the initiative of Bob Kindred – now the IHBC’s voluntary Local Government Officer – to help establish levels of local authority prosecution activity.  He says: ‘With 150 cases it is more robust than ever before, but we always need cases to be reported to us to maintain its effectiveness, so we’re encouraging people to use the data, and to let us know when there are any more cases to be added to the list.’
